Guilmet, number 2169, the circular brass base stamped for P H Mourey, 2329
The pendulum held aloft by a mother figure playing with a putto, the pendulum bob made of bevelled glass set within an engraved bezel,on a socle numbered 2329 on an onyx base with mounts to each side, on a shaped plinth with six adjustable feet, on a carved giltwood base and ebonised dome stand supporting the glass dome, the 4 inch dial with applied gilt Roman numerals and gilt spade hands, the spring driven movement striking on a bell. 66cms (2ft 2ins) high.
