A black lacquered occassional table
A Regency black japanned, rosewood, ebonised and gilt bronze mounted occasional table
The rectangular tilt top heightened with gilt chinoiseries, with pierced brass gallery above a ring turned shaft, with leaf cast collar, on a tripartite platform base with lion paw cast feet, 49cm wide, 39cm deep, 74cm high (19" wide, 15" deep, 29" high).

    This occasional table relates to a design for 'Work Tables, Screens & Candelabri' in George Smith's, Collection of Designs for Household Furniture, 1808 (pl. 111). It has been suggested that the table may have been amongst the Regency furniture brought to Fulbeck from Well Vale, Lincolnshire.
