Gilt full plate verge fusee movement with pierced and engraved central balance cock, silvered regulation, two polished steel hammers striking on a steel bell located to the back of the inside case, enamel dial signed George Prior London with black painted Turkish numerals, gilt hands, inner polished case engraved with musical instruments and flowers, pierced sounds frets to the side, middle case similarly engraved and also with pierced sides, the outer case with engraved gilt metal fixings, movement signed Markwick Markham Borrell
