A well-made, modern maple and walnut dining type table and set of eight chairs by Rupert Williamson, circa 1994
The table with top of circular form, designed with four 'V' cuts at equal intervals to the edge of the top, and line inlays centred by an inlaid square form panel, on four curved, tapering, open and line inlaid supports, inscribed 'Rupert Williamson, 93' and 'Made by Berwyn Phillips.' to the underside of the top, 193cm wide, 73cm high, the chairs with a stylised, shaped and pierced upright back, slip-in brown leather seat on block front legs, united by raised 'H' form rail stretchers, inscribed 'Rupert Williamson 94' and numbered to inner seat rails.
