Dressed in his Mayor of St. Albans robes; he is standing beside the Ryder Cup trophy. Abe Mitchell is shown on the other side playing at Veralum. The trophy made by Aynsley in Stoke-on-Trent
is embellished with 22-carat gold and was a limited edition of just 10 pieces. In fact only 2 of the 10 were made before the artist at Aynsley, Lawrence Woodhouse retired; no more will be made
This one is Number 10 and is presented on a solid mahogany base.

  • The Veralum Golf Club commissioned The Verulam Centenary Trophy in 2005. Veralum agreed that a limited edition of 10 further trophies, slightly different to the one at Veralum could be crafted at Aynsley.
