A Young Lady, called Miss Mary C. Gerrard, aged 16, seated before red drapery and wearing cream dress with lace trim and turquoise blue ribbon at her waist, bouffant sleeves.
Signed on the obverse and dated Rochard pinxit 1822, gilt-metal frame, the reverse with small oval aperture, glazed to reveal plaited hair.
