The multi-panelled tester above a headboard with three arch-carved panels headed by interlaced roundel panels and the later painted motto 'Un roi, une foi, une loi' (a version of the motto of Louis XIV), with plain panels below, the turned endposts above a triple-panelled baseboard linked by rails, 220cm wide x 145cm deep x 181cm high, (86.5" wide x 57" deep x 71" high)
