Richardson, Brampton
Having a 13-inch broken arched Roman dial with crown hands, inscribed "Richardson/BRAMPTON" with terrestrial calendar crescent framed by thatched cottage spandrels, the arch painted with a shepherd and his dog, the 18th Century movement countwheel-striking on a bell, the case with swan-neck pediment over turned columns, the short trunk door with pointed arch and crossbanding between cushion-moulded pilasters, the crossbanded base on a plinth, (sold with weight and pendulum), 216cm (85") high
