Jiaqing seal mark and of the period
Boldly enamelled in pink, yellow, blue, white and turquoise with a dense looping and coiling feathery meander of four large lotus heads, each dividing two auspicious characters and surmounted by an iron-red bat in flight between a cluster of pomegranate, peach and finger citron fruit, the neck with a band of overlapping lappets above clouds around the shoulder.

    The present vase is decorated in direct continuation of the Imperial style prevalent during the Qianlong reign.
