The figure group of a man and woman sat on a grassy bank, with stream running between them, the man holding a bird cage, the woman holding a flower in her right hand, and with a bird perched on her left, a flowering tree behind the figures with further birds, set on a square base marked "Bird-catchers", 30cms high (some restoration).
