Circa 1815, naturalistically modelled standing to the right, his front left paw resting on a ball, before a rocky mound applied with blue, encrusted flowers, on a rectangular black, white, and yellow marbled plinth, moulded with a band of stiff leaves, 28cms long, 20cms high.
