A large gold lacquer inlaid ivory-mounted brisé fan

Decorated with a continuous Autumnal rural scene of a farmer walking home over a drum bridge, carrying a bundle of brushwood, his two children waiting for him outside a small thatched house set among stands of bamboo, in gold takamakie with details of kirikane, hiramakie and inlaid aogai, the reverse with trailing paulownia and Chinese bell flowers in similar style, unsigned; with gilt-metal rivet and loop with silk cord and tassels and ivory ojime lacquered in gold takamakie with a bird over a kiri plant; with lacquer storage box.
