A Satsuma koro (incense burner) and cover

The squat, bulbous body decorated in enamels and gilt with a flowering plum tree on one side and flowering sprays of kiku on the reverse, the neck with a band of shippo-tsunagi and the cover embellished with sprays of kiri, pierced with two apertures and surmounted with a finial in the form of two stylised birds, signed Kenzan; with wood storage box. 15.5cm (6 1/8in) high.
