A Roman marble draped female figure
Circa 1st-2nd Century A.D.
Probably a goddess, standing with the weight on the left leg, the right relaxed and bent at the knee, wearing a long chiton with himation over the top, the folds of the himation clinging to her left hip, draped over the left shoulder and falling beside the left leg, the neck with a cavity for insertion of a separately-made head, the head and arms missing, 37in (94cm) high
