With three-stage barrel engraved with foliage at the breech, border engraved tang decorated with foliage, signed rounded lock and cock en suite, figured full stock (chipped beneath the front of the lock) carved with a stylised shell behind the barrel tang, border engraved mounts comprising shaped flat side-plate, vacant oval escutcheon, spurred pommel with a flower-head on each side, trigger-guard with acorn finial and a flower-head on the bow, ramrod-pipes, and later wooden ramrod (barrel and lock with some rust patination), Tower private proof marks
