With heavy rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrel with rectangular gold-lined maker's stamp and slender gold line at the breech, the bottom flat stamped 'Narrow Twisted', gold-lined touch-hole, tang incorporating the back-sight and engraved with foliage involving a martial trophy, signed border engraved flat detented lock decorated with a basket of foliage at the stepped tail and with a starburst behind the rainproof pan, border engraved cock and steel, safety-catch and roller, figured full stock (fore-end repaired) with chequered rounded butt, spur trigger-guard with pineapple finial and engraved with a martial trophy on the bow, set trigger, and stirrup ramrod (some light pitting in places), London proof marks
