A Continental metalware epergne,
apparently unmarked,
the slender and baluster column with milled-edged bands and having a fixed central bowl with piercing, the whole raised in a stepped and domed base applied with an elaborate border of trailing fruiting vine tendrils and Bacchanal masks with paw pads beneath, the lower section of stem applied with four large foliate scroll arms and each with a pierced screw-on dish with a fruiting vine tendril border, height 56cm.
