    This lot includes examples from the main dynasties of the Eastern Islamic world, including Samanid, Fatimid, Abbasid, Seljuk, Ayyubid and Mamluk. Of particular note are a Fatimid lustre figural fragment depicting the lower half of a human figure, a Ghaznavid bowl depicting a lion and an unglazed tile from the Seljuk Mosque of Forumad, near Semnan.
