consisting of 21 watercolours on watermarked paper, seven larger scenes, 13 depicting various species of birds, and one view of the Taj Mahal; and 18 paintings in gouache on mica, six large scenes, 3 smaller scenes of noblemen in ox-drawn carts, etc., eight depicting individual species of birds, and one large view of several types, some identifying inscriptions in English in pencil on mounts, a handwritten note tipped in next to the view of the Taj Mahal with memorial verses and an appreciation of the building's beauty, an ownership inscription of Clara E. Marten [?] in the front of the album, purple gilt morocco
