profusely carved in the Mughal taste, the arcaded superstructure with central coat of arms of the Sealy family, the pierced arched sides above two drawers and a pair of panelled doors flanked by open shelves on stile feet, the lock stamped LESL...   • The Sealy family originated in Bridgwater, Somerset. A junior branch moved to Ireland during the reign of Charles II and settled in County Cork. The family's connection with India has not yet been established.
