Having a 4-inch cellular Roman dial with lapis blue reserves, gilt-enriched, framing a putto in flight with staff and censer, above a basket, wheatsheaf and scythe, the two-train movement, half-hour striking on a bell, stamped 'G.V.', with Vincenti & Cie 1855 Medaille d'Argent exhibition stamp, numbered 20847, the fine case, with matching number, surmounted by Cupid with a flaming torch and quiver of arrows, seated amidst clouds, the diaper-topped broken-arched case with cast floral garlands, the dial over a well-painted porcelain panel decorated with putti dancing in a harvest landscape, one with floral wreath, one with sickle, one seated playing a pipe, before a classical bust, between four cast figures representing the Four Seasons, within gilt-enriched lapis blue border on an inverted bow-breakfront base with beaded toupie feet, the sides with ribbon-topped floral porcelain panels within gilt-enriched lapis blue reserves, between scroll buttresses, 37cm wide x 56.5cm high, (14.5" x 22.25"), (sold with pendulum and winder)
