Having a 12-inch broken-arched dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes, fleur-de-lis half hour divisions and inner quarter hour track, framing a matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial over date aperture within mask and foliate spandrels, the arch with silvered boss engraved "JOHN HAYTON LONDON" between dragons, the movement CHECK IF FIVE PILLAR with anchor escapement, rack striking on a bell, the case with caddy-topped hood over turned columns with brass capitals, the broken-arched moulded long trunk door on a panelled base and plinth, 235cm, (92.5") high, (sold with two weights plus pendulum)
