To the obverse with figures of two footballers surrounding shield, engraved with date 1914, the reverse engraved 'ENGLISH CUP WINNERS BURNLEY F.C. E.MOSSCROP Presented by KING GEORGE V.' with floral surround, hallmarked, 15ct gold, makers mark C & F, ring suspension, complete with original box from G.W.Ainsworth Jewellers of Blackburn.

  • The 1914 F.A. Cup Final was contested by Burnley and Liverpool at Crystal Palace. Burnley won by a single goal, scored by Bert Freeman. The game was the last ever final at Crystal Palace and was played in front of a reigning monarch, George V, for the first time.
