  • The painting depicts a stylised plan of the temple. The Jagannath trio stand in the centre, with Shiva and Brahma just below them. In the top register are the five incarnations of Vishnu. Below this, on the right, Rama and Lakshmana fight the demon Ravanna. At the very bottom is the gate of the temple, flanked by two lions, and the three temple cars stand ready at the lower left.
