  • A manuscript of Sa'di's Gulistan which was copied by Muhammad Muzaffar al-Din was sold at Sotheby's, London, Islamic and Indian Art, 10th-11th October 1991, lot 962. The colophon states that the manuscript was copied by Muhammad Muzaffar al-Din valad (son) of Muhammad Shiya 'atullah, a pupil of Mir Hayrat 'ali Khan Bahadur, and dated AH 1272/AD 1855. The floral borders of the manuscript point to a Northern Indian provenance.
