Arabic manuscript on paper, 168 leaves, 15 lines to the page written in an elegant ta'liq script in black ink, titles picked out in red throughout, margins picked out in black and gold, occasional commentaries in wide outer borders, one illuminated headpiece in colours and gold preceded by an index written in red ink, waterstaining affecting upper section of text of each page, binding covered in green cloth, faded, with flap, doublures of marbled paper
