Arabic manuscript on paper, 5 lines to the page written in naskhi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in black, large gold rosettes decorated with blue ribbons, some waterstaining, in mount, text area 195 x 12 mm.; and two Qur'an leaves, Persia, late 16th/early 17th Century, Arabic manuscript on paper, 14 lines to the page written in muhaqqaq/naskhi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in black, gold discs decorated with blue and orange dots between verses, inner margins ruled in colours and gold, illuminated devices in margins, small tear, creased, mounted together, text area 210 x 135 mm.; two Qur'an leaves, North India, late 18th/early 19th Century, Arabic and Persian manuscript on paper, 17 lines to the page written in naskhi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in black, first, ninth and seventeenth lines on each page contained within a gold panel, double intercolumnar rules in gold, Persian commentary written in nasta'liq script in black in inner margins of each page, sura heading written in thuluth in blue within illuminated panel, small tears and dampstaining, in mounts, text area 240 x 123 mm.; and two leaves from a manuscript on ablution, probably Anatolia, 15th Century, Arabic and Turkish manuscript on paper, 4 lines to the page written in naskhi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in black, interlinear Persian translation written diagonally in red, large gold rosettes decorated with blue and orange dots, illuminated circular devices in outer margins, some staining, mounted together
