Arabic manuscript on paper, 134 leaves, 21 lines to the page written in one and two columns of nasta'liq script in black ink, names such as countries, mountains and rivers and headings picked out in red, catchwords in wide margins, first four folios containing the index, folios 2v-3r left blank and intended for a map of the world, some waterstaining mostly restricted to outer margins, contemporary brown morocco with blind-tooled central medallion and borders, with flap, stained, crudely repaired
