Isfahan, dated between Jumada II 1047 and Rajab 1048/November 1637 and November 1638
Persian manuscript on paper, 290 leaves, 22 lines to the page written in four columns of nasta'liq script in black ink, intercolumnar rules in yellow, margins ruled in yellow, blue and gold, catchwords, headings in red ink, five illuminated headpieces in colours and gold (the first headpiece excised and the page patched), one double-page miniature in the Isfahan style added at a later date, depicting Iskandar's embassy to Queen Nushaba, rubbed, waterstaining mostly confined to upper margins, some crude repairs mostly to corners, slightly browned, Indian 19th Century red leather, detached, worn, spine missing
