Footnotes

  • This design shows striking similarities to the Green and Gold Florian ware range which was released in three colourways - green and gold, blue and gold and the "Alhambra" salmon pink and gold. The blue used here is considerably darker than that used in the blue and gold colourway. The release of these designs in 1902 marked a change towards the Art Nouveau style in Moorcroft's designs.
