  • Charles Valton studied under the great Animalier masters Barye and Fremiet and exhibited regularly at the Salon from 1868 until 1914, first in plaster and wax and later in bronze. He produced numerous models of African and Indian wildlife including lions, tigers, jaguars, camels and elephants.
