the oval, domed lid with incised geometric design supporting a horse and rider, the horse with indigenous repairs and enlarged head with upward pointed ears, the figure with an elongated torso with herniated naval holding the horse gently on its mane with the other arm raised to his ear; fine varied dark brown encrusted patina.
