diameter 9 3/4in (24.8cm)
finely hand-carved, probably kou wood, with flat bottom and curved sides turning slightly in at the rim, multiple "butterfly", pewa, repairs to the surface; shellac-finished wood with a dramatic contrast of golden sapwood against the rich, dark heartwood; with label "I.A. Jenkins Collection" and remnants of another label.
