FIRST EDITION OF THIS EXTREMELY RARE MIDWESTERN AMERICANUM, IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. More than half of the book (pp 9-131) comprises John Bradford's Historical Notes on Kentucky in its first edition in book form. Bradford's Notes first appeared in the Kentucky Gazette and included the exploits of Daniel Boone, Clarke's and Bowman's expeditions, the battle of Blue Licks, and several captivity narratives.
