Three Colima Stone Figures,
Late Preclassic, ca. 300 - 100 B.C.
heights: 2 1/4, 2 1/2 and 2 5/8ins (6.7, 6.5 and 6.8cm)
most likely jade, each stylized seated figure (two males and one female) with openwork arms resting on upraised legs, rounded faces with circular drilled mouths and eyes and projecting noses, two figures pierced on the back for suspension as jewelry.
