nguzu nguzu, small, yet ambitiously carved with an elongated head with looped earrings resting on the shoulders, the curved arms leading to hands holding a small object on which rests the chin, the face characterized by a very pronounced jaw, a pointed nose and mouth ajar, almond-shaped eyes inset with mother-of-pearl shell below the crest of a high forehead extending in a cone reminiscent of a hat; fine black patina, light brown ears and cap, with red pigment in the mouth.
