Former French President Georges Pompidou founded the Centre Pompidou as a home for art, music, literature, and cultural expression. The skeleton pen's overlaid white gold lattice echoes the architecture of the center. The pen is decorated with several rings of small diamonds, while the clip finishes in a brilliant sapphire. 5 5/8" (14.4 cm). The 18 K gold rhodium plated nib is engraved with an image of Pompidou.
