By Isobe Isshu, late Goto school, late 19th century
Of rounded rectangular form with raised rim, inlaid in gold and silver honzogan and engraved in katakiri with peonies in a rain shower, the reverse inlaid with three butterflies, signed Isobe Isshu with kao.
