A pair of rare square-corner flush-sided jichimu cabinets
Late Ming / early Qing dynasty
Each of tall rectangular section with a pair of removable doors above a single recessed panel, opening to reveal two drawers and three shelves, the cusped aprons decorated with relief-carved foliage, all supported on four straight legs, the sides, back and top section all flushed straight, the wood of a rich red-brown colour suffused with deep bron and gray patterns, reminiscent of bird feathers.
