A rare pair of Staffordshire figure groups

After Derby porcelain prototypes of 'Hairdressing' and 'Shoe-mending', the former modelled with a standing gentleman with scissors and comb, attending to the hair of a seated lady, the latter group with a gentleman helping a lady to try on a shoe from his sack of assorted footwear, both groups well coloured and with full bocage behind, on high rustic bases, 24 and 24.5cm high (restoration to extremities) (2)
