A William Greatbatch lead-glazed creamware teapot and cover
circa 1765-70
Of 'Fruit Basket' form, moulded in the form of a basket overflowing with a variety of fruit picked out in underglaze colours, with leaf-capped curved spout and finely grooved ear-shaped handle, the basket-weave moulded cover with bud knop, 11.5cm high (restoration to tip of spout and tiny chips) (2)
