An Isleworth feeding cup, circa 1770-85
Of very distinctive shape with 'butterfly-wing' handles raised at the sides, the round bowl covered at the front with a semi-circular platform and with a gently-curving spout, printed in blue with a wide range of small flower sprigs and insects including two versions of the 'Gillyflower' or carnation spray, a sprig of berries on the spout, 17.7cm wide across handles, 8.8cm high (one handle broken and restuck, some minor chips and short, fine cracks)

All of the known examples of Isleworth feeding cups are decorated with the same series of floral prints.
