c. 1964 Plymouth Belvedere
Plymouth's Belevedere was a staple of the brand during the years 1951-1970, going through several iterations and styling changes during that time.
Belvederes went on to competition successes in drags and stock car racing with the advent of Chrysler's 413 and later 426 cubic inch V8 engines. When dropped into the compact third-generation Belevedere platform, the big V8s made the otherwise docile Plymouth something to be respected and feared.
The example on offer here is believed to be an original 426ci model. It is clean and generally straight, with a striking red interior and manual transmission. This represents an outstanding opportunity for a collector to acquire one of the earliest Mopar-branded muscle cars. It should be great fun at the nostalgia drags, or just to cruise through Bob's Big Boy on a Friday night.
