Steve McQueen's original dirtbike toolbox,
a multi-drawer Waterloo toolbox, used by the movie star when he went dirtbike riding, verified by son Chad McQueen, who commented, "We used to take that thing everywhere," he even remembers applying some of the decals to the box's sides and top. Some of the choice stickers include a faded Indian logo, a Marine Corps emblem, a Stuntman's Association roundel and the stylized butterfly title art from the movie Papillion. Contained within the toolbox's drawers are an assortment of tools, nuts & bolts, some aviation sparkplugs, a rare Lodge motorcycle sparkplug and an unused California registration sticker attached to a piece of paper marked "1971 Husqvarna," one of McQueen's favored brands. Also included, an original Imperial Place auction catalog and the toolbox's 1984 lot tag, the toolbox 26 x 18 x 16 inches.
