A silverplated motoring trophy by Reed & Barton, American, circa 1910,
the lidded cup with eagle finial, cherub and swag decoration, the front engraved with image of a veteran racing car, the underside of the cup marked, "mf'g & plated by Reed & Barton 2590S", 14½ in. high overall, together with two period photographs of racing cars, curled after long-term storage inside the cup.
