Quare, London on the silvered roman chapter ring with sword hilt half hour markers, mock pendulum aperture in the matted center, large silvered date ring in the arch, scroll pierced blued steel hands, crown and scepter spandrels, substantial twin fusee six ringed pillar movement, wire lines, renewed verge escapement, pull quarter repeat on six bells by means of six hammers, hour striking on further bell, signed cartouche on the backplate amid profuse engraved foliate scrolls flowers and grotesques, with steel securing brackets to the case. 16¼ in.
