The bell top with leaf capped handle and bud finials to the corners, gilt filets, sound frets and foliate term corner mounts the door, glazed sides (one pane cracked), brass dial with silvered strike / silent ring in the arch, silvered roman chapter ring enclosing signature plaque and date aperture in the matted center, bled steel scroll hands, twin fusee movement with wire lines, verge escapement with knife edge suspension to the pendulum (back cock damaged), striking the hour on bell, backplate engraved with swags, urn and paterae amid foliate scrolls. 19 ½ in.
