The floral engraved domed top with central bun finial and leafy buds to the corners, above a pierced frieze set with red, green and white paste, supported by cast dragons applied to the corners, pierced oval woven knot side frets, circular white enamel dial with arabic minute numerals and roman chapters within paste-set bezel and gilt mask cast and chased with the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism, gilt hour and minute hands, blued steel center seconds, the base raised on pierced bracket feet twin fusee movement cut for chains, wound and set through backplate engraved with signature cartouche, striking the hours and quarters on two bells 20 in.
