Faint stain affecting dedication leaf, a few stray spots, some repair to binding, joints with some wear, an execellent example.

First collected edition, second issue. Includes "Mother Hubberd's Tale," not found in the earlier issue. Pforzheimer 973.
Provenance: early ownership signatures on title— in English and in Latin—of Anthony Rudd [c.1549-1615, Bishop of St. David's].
