Satyrae. Vicenza: Henricus de Sancto Ursio, Zenus, 1480. Commentary by Domitius Calderinus [1446-1478]. a-b10 c-f6 g8 h-i6 k8 l6 m8 I10. 96 leaves including initial blank. The final 10 leaves comprise the Defensio adversus Brotheum. 52-54 lines of commentary. Some Greek type. Rubricated with 2- to 7-line initials and paragraph marks in alternating blue and red. Extensive early marginalia, including interlineal marginalia, in at least 2 different hands. Folio (290 x 198 mm). Modern half vellum. Some very pale scattered marginal dampstain, marginal worming to a few leaves, a few wormholes catching letters, I8 with blank corner torn away, minor soiling to binding.

The first book printed by Henricus de Sancto Ursio, with extensive early marginalia including a few borders, faces and pointing fingers. HC *9690; Goff J-644.
